FAQ

What is the difference between a public and private event?

Public events are the perfect way to experience The Chef's Table throughout the year!

Private events require minimums, and are great for events like work parties, birthday celebrations and wedding rehearsals.

Public events are posted here on our website (click any RSVP button), and you can sign up by yourself, or with a group of your friends. These include cooking classes, themed dinners and cocktail parties.

Walk-Ins

We are a reservation-only private dining event venue. If you would like to tour the space prior to booking, please call or email us and we can arrange a tour.

Reservation Inclusions

Inclusions fluctuate depending on the event. Included alcoholic pairings will be noted along with the night’s menu. A fully-stocked cash bar is always available.

Menu Substitutions

We can accommodate dietary restrictions and/or allergies as long as we know ahead of time. Substitutions can be coordinated with the Culinary Brigade, are subject to change and depend on availability. Please connect with us before the event.

Service Charge & Gratuity

The service charge goes to pay for the The Chef’s Table Culinary Brigade, Bartender & Service Staff. Gratuity is appreciated, and not included. If you would like to add gratuity the night of the event, please let a staff member know.

Refunds, Exchanges & Transfers

Reservations are non-refundable. With at least 7 days advance notice, reservations can be transferred to a different event; additional fees and charges may apply depending on event costs. Within the 7-day window, you can gift your reservation to a friend if you are unable to attend.

The Chef's Table reserves the right to re-schedule events and transfer reservations if the guest count does not meet the minimum of 8 guests.

Late Arrival

Please call us if you think that you will be late for the event. We generally wait for all guests to arrive until we seat dinners or start classes. If you will be later than the posted seated dinner time, or over 30 minutes past the class start time, you will be included into the event as you arrive, although not guaranteed what you have missed.

Event Length

All events vary in length. We can only give estimated times, which depend on many things, the guest count, number of courses, length of reception or guest speakers, etc.

Event Cancellations

The Chef’s Table reserves the right to cancel any event. You will be contacted by the Events Manager if any extreme changes are made or a cancellation occurs.

Parking

All parking is street parking. Please do not park in the lot between The Chef's Table and Anodyne Coffee Roasters. Our phone number is 414-277-7676. Please call if you are running late.

Tickets must be reserved in advance.

Please advise us of all allergies & dietary restrictions.

Attendance is by ticket only. Sorry, no walk-ins.
