Bastille Market Cooking Class

Updated: Jul 16, 2019

Something special happens when you walk through a market. Instead of planning your menu from a blank slate (empty refrigerator), your imagination runs wild thinking about all the things that could be. You get to sample new fruits, veggies, and meats, try exotic foods, and come away with the freshest ingredients you can find.

Since the Winter Domes Farmers Market will have ended in Milwaukee for us, and we are on the fringe of summer markets opening, we are looking to the Bastille Market in Paris. For this class, we are harnessing that wonder and amazement, teaching you how to incorporate all those ingredients and to make some of the delicacies and iconic items you'd expect to see.

Featuring:

Herb-Cheese Gougeres

Spring Salad & Champagne Vinaigrette

Oysters Rockefeller

Potage Parmentier

Hangar Steak with Bearnaise & Haricot Verts

Duck Confit

Sole en Papillote

Oeufs a la Neige
